Chapter 14 The Onyx Dragon Part 1: Curse of the Black Onyx Gauntlet

Mina and Edgar as well as Nile and the kids came over to congratulate Tenna for getting her armor.

"Yo, Mina I did it!" Tenna jumped up.

"Very good, Tenna." Mina said, smiling proudly even. Even though she spoke softly, you can tell her in facial expression she was indeed very happy for Tenna.

"Yes, congratulations!" Edgar replied spiritedly. "You've gotten stronger and are step closer to full filling the prophecy and your destiny."

"Jee, Edgar way to put on the preasure..." Sam smirked.

Tenna laughed and said "It's okay! If it means getting a step closer in getting rid of that witch and group of morons for good, I'm all for it!"

"That's the spirit Tenna!" Demi avidly

"Thanks!" Tenna replied and then she calmly said "But you know, I couldn't have really made it without what grandmother said...I had a dream of her when she was sick. Even when she was in the hospital she was still full of joy and spirit and she told me to be happy even if it maybe a bit hard and even if you have to let out some steam..." Then she turned to her friends and said "You can always find happiness as long as you try to look on the bright side of things."

Her friends all agreed with that. Then she turned to Eric and said "And you Eric."

"Huh?" Eric looked at her confusingly.

Tenna giggled and said "Well, you cheered me back before this happened and I think it kinda helped a little bit."

"Tenna..." Eric replied blushfully if that was possible for a vampire. He put his hand to his arm nervously, as if he didn't feel the same way really. I'm...glad. Least my self worth has gone up a bit more...

Sam begin to giggle as she felt like where this was going.  Even though she wasn't much of a social person, she too felt the feeling in the air. Eric looked at them confusingly. He was completely clueless on what was going on.

Eric looked at Tenna who shrugged and shook her head. Eric shrugged and with a small chuckle he said "Thanks..."

"Sure!" Tenna replied brightly.

From a far, Magnus watched from on top of the building and put his hand over the gauntlet he wore.

"The second knight has gotten her armor..." He said to himself "Now, soon, this child I guide must gain his soon but unlike the others, gaining his armor will not be as easy. I hope you will be ready, young lad...For the power of your armor will either help you....or destroy you..."

****
They all decided to go out and eat for a bit. The restaurant they were eating at was a typical family diner. Nothing fancy but just simple, home style food with a warm atmosphere. They sat at a large booth in the corner. Sam next to Tenna with Eric and Devi on her left and on the right of Sam, was Mina. Across the table was Alex, Nile and Edgar.

Devi notice that Mina had being hanging around a lot at with Sam, Alex and Nile. They seemed to be pretty close friends, but the knights only took notice just now. They'd been fighting so much, they often forgot what else was going on around them.

"You kids seem to be getting along very well." Tenna commented.

"Yeah..." Mina replied. "I guess we do. They've been inviting me to their place a bit, least when I'm not too busy."

"We often come by to drop off sweets and such." Sam replied. "But we often as Mina to come along with us for a while. Just to hang out."

"That's good." Devi replied

"Do you do any games together?" Eric asked.

"Sam has been showing me how to do those dance games...?" Mina turn to Sam. "The one that you use those remote control sticks..."

"Yeah, the kennect games." Sam explained. "I have a few games on the Kennect S and many involved dancing."

"I didn't know you were into that kind of thing, Sam." Tenna added.

"Yeah, I take ballet lessons after school." Sam explained. "And I like to play dance games to experience different kinds of dances."

"That's cool!" Tenna replied.

"Yes, Sam is the queen of the dance!" Nile replied which made the rest chuckled at her enthusiasm.

"Nile's pretty good at it..." Mina replied, shyly. "I'm not too into it and I'm pretty bad..."

"Aww, you just need to practice a bit more..." Sam commented.

"We could give you lessons, Mina, " Edgar suggested "if you really wanted to."

Mina shook her head with a small smile and said "No, it's alright. I love to see dancing and it's fun doing it just as a game, but it's not really something I find passion in."

"It's alright, everyone's got their own thing." Alex added.

"What about you, Alex?" Eric asked. "Have anything you're interested in?"

"Well, I wanna be an astronaut when I grow up," Alex replied "so study a lot in astrology and such."

"That's cool." Eric replied.

"Yet, you still don't believe that aliens exist." Sam scorned him a little bit.

"Please..." Alex added sarcastically. "You watch too much scifi."

"Well, you guys have a mummy for a nanny!" Tenna added "A mummy coming to life and becoming your nanny okay. The existence of other life on other planets? No...? Really? Come on, Alex!"

"She's right!" Sam commented.

"Okay..." Alex confessed. "You got a point."

Alex then looked out the window and spotted a young boy all alone at the street corner. He was holding a little brown teddy bear, wear a black shirt with white and black stripe sleeves, baggy pants and tennis shoes. Alex couldn't see much of his face, but from the looks of his body language and the fact he was alone, Alex could tell that this boy needed help.

"What is wrong, Alex?" Nile asked

"There's some kid alone outside." Alex replied

"Really, where?" Devi asked. By the time the others looked out the kid had vanished.  "I don't see anybody."

Alex looked again. "But I swear he was there...He couldn't have gone away that fast."

"Do you think his parents got him?" Tenna asked

"Not that fast..." Alex replied. "He was just standing there all alone and there was no one around...."

"Okay, that's just creepy..." Sam added un-at-ease.

"I'll go check it out." Mina replied as she got up and went outside to the spot that Alex saw the boy. After a moment, came back in.

"Whoever that was, I don't feel their presence." Mina said.

"So nothing unusual?" Edgar asked. Mina shook her head as she back down.

"Well, maybe he ran off somewhere.." Eric suggested.

"How old did the kid looked to you, Alex?" Sam asked

"I couldn't tell, but he looked about age. He was carrying a teddy bear though so I kinda wonder. I wouldn't be carrying a teddy bear around."

"Says someone that sleeps with a stuffed godzilla doll." Sam teased.

"Eh!" Alex snapped "At least I don't carry it around like that kid was his bear!"

The all laughed in good spirits. The atmosphere had lifted up a bit, but little did they know that it was just going to get worse and very soon.

****

Eric was helping Tenna clean up the place before going to bed. They had just gotten home from celebrating at a club near by. Eric was picking up some stuff in the living room, when he sensed something on the roof.

"Eric..." Magnus said telepathically in his mind. "I must speak to you."

With that Eric went over to the entry door.

"Tenna, I'll be right back." He told her. "I have to do something."

"Oh, okay." Tenna said a little curious on what anyone would have to do at this time of night.

Eric flew up to the roof and where he met Magnus who stood in the moonlight.

"Hey, Magnus." Eric greeted his teacher. "What's up?"

Magnus didn't say anything at first then he looked down at the gauntlet that he wore on his right hand . "You are the last of the three knights to have yet to get their armor." He then took his gauntlet off. As soon as it did it changed it's size bigger.

"Woah..." Eric was amazed at what the gauntlet had just done. Magnus handed Eric the gauntlet.

"This will be the key to your transformation." Magnus explained. "This gauntlet was worn by third knight who too was a vampire. It was given to me by Mina's family years ago."

"Wow..." Eric replied. Eric reached it hesitatingly at first and then he gently took it from it's old master's hand. "It looks so big...Will it fit?"

"You saw what it did." Magnus implied. "It can re-size itself to fit the wrist of its owner and to be taken off easily."

With that Eric went a head and put the gauntlet on his right arm and as Magnus said, it shrunk to fit his tiny wrist. Then it disappeared into thin air.

"Huh?" Eric looked confused

"The gauntlet will appear when you want it to." Magnus explained. "Although me, I can make it stay on my wrist as long as I want but you being inexperience, need practice to doing so. If you want the gauntlet to appear, just focus on it appearing and will appear on your wrist."

"I see..." Eric replied "But how do I use it to gain my armor?"

"You don't." Magnus said "It will choose whether or not you are ready to gain your armor. I must warn you, young lad. There is no turning back from this. There is a chance that it may not see you worthy enough to wield it. If that happens, I dunno what will come from it. It may just not work or it may corrupt you."

"What!" Eric choked a little bit. This made Magnus put both hands on his shoulders and looked at him very seriously.

"You must not be afraid, Eric!" Magnus told him. "It will sense your fear. You must truly believe in yourself, your feelings and your desires. If you show fear or regret in battle it may hurt you, perhaps even cost you your soul. There is nothing to fear however, if you do believe in your abilities. That gauntlet as well as having powers itself is all based on one's will and control of their emotions. That is how magic works."

"Believe in myself..." Eric said as he thought of it and nodded "Alright, I understand."

Magnus then took his hands away and stood back a bit. "Just remain calm, focused and in control of your emotions and trust yourself. Even if you're afraid, focus on what you need to do and the gauntlet will respond to that."

"I-I get what you're saying..." Eric said a bit shaken inside.

Magnus smirked and nodded "Very well then...I'll shall leave you now. Just know this though, even if you have no choice, it doesn't mean you're ready. However, being ready is not being completely prepared physically but mentally of what is to come."

With that he took off flying into the night. Eric looked at his wrist where he was wearing the gauntlet. There was still a bit of nervousness in him. Course who wouldn't be after being told that this bracelet could corrupt your heart and soul?

Eric closed his eyes and focused making the gauntlet appeared. He looked at it a bit worried and then decided to go back inside. Tenna had already gotten into bed. He turned out the lights, went into his and  just got dressed into his sleep clothes. He tried to sleep but it was hard for him to. He tossed and turned as a nightmare plagued his mind.

It was of the time after he became a vampire. He decided to leave his school and his old life behind and that included leaving his school friends. The day he decided to say goodbye to his friends was one of the hardest things he had ever done. He decided to give his friends some things to remember him by.

His friends were in a group, talking about Eric and wondering what happened. They were standing outside, near the border of the school grounds. Then all of a sudden, one of his friends, a young girl with long dark brown hair, a red long sleeve turtle neck sweater, black short skirt and black leggins, spotted Eric in the distance of a wooded area.

His friends, including Oblivia, a pale young boy with bleach blond hair wearing a brown shirt and jeans and tall black young man in a reddish brown shirt and black jeans, ran towards him. Tears ran down his eyes as he smiled a tearful smile.

The young girl noticed this and in concern asked "Eric, what's wrong?"

Eric took off running before they could catch up to him. They lost track of him as he flew up into the sky, but he left some things behind for them to remember him by. Among the items were photos of all of them together and a note that read.

"You may not understand now, maybe never will, but I must leave. I can't stay here any longer. Please don't be mad. I just can't tell you why, but know that you are the greatest friends anyone could ever have. Thanks for being there with me. I wish it could have ended a different way, but life I guess is fickle like that...

Please keep me in your memories as I will you. I'll never forget any of you. Thanks again.

Sincerely with love and gratitude, Eric."

As Eric flew up, he could not stop the tears that ran down his cheeks. He could not look back as it was too painful for him to.

Back in the present time as he dreamed about this, a few tears ran down Eric's face as he slept.
****

The next morning, Eric showed his friends the gauntlet..

"So that thing is how you're gonna be able to transform?" Devi asked

"That's what Magnus said." Eric replied.

"So how do you activate it to transform into your armor?" Tenna asked

"Magnus said that it will decide whether or not I'm ready for my armor." Eric explained

"Wait that thing can decide on things like that?" Tenna asked as if she was listening to something slightly impossible.

"Pretty much..." Eric said "I dunno how it works either. Magnus didn't tell me to much about it, other then that it was worn by the original third knight who was also vampire."

"Wow..." Tenna commented "That's old..."

"Did he tell you anything else about it?" Devi asked

"Well..." Eric was thinking about whether or not tell them that the gauntlet could corrupt or possible do harm to him. He decided not to worry them about it. That it was possible that nothing bad will happen at all so he just shook his head.

Tenna couldn’t help but feel that Eric wasn’t telling everything. She only hope that she was wrong. Eric touched his gauntlet kinda a little unease. Then it disappeared as soon as he did so.

"Woah…" Tenna said in surprise.

Eric smiled warmly at her. Still nervous about what Magnus had said, Eric knew he had to remain calm and trust himself.

" So what are we gonna do?" Tenna asked wanting to go do something or just go some where.

Mean while, back in the Dark Realm. Something was happening in the little golden cage that was kept in a dark room. Small cries of agony came from this little cage, as a purple aura and electricity sparked from what was inside the cage.

"Scream all you want!" Mr.Eff roared "It doesn't much matter! No one is gonna save you! Little f@#$%!"

Johnny sat in his chamber. D-Boy then appeared on the left hand side of him.

"Your armor is ready. " said D-Boy with his usual wide grin " Soon you will have a power greater then those three knights. Enough power to crush them. "

All Nny did was just raised his head from his knees slightly.

*****

"Hey Eric?" Tenna asked in concern at the boy in his bat form riding on Devi’s right shoulder. They were at a different shopping center. It was kind of a Little Tokyo kind of place as most stores were Japanese related.

Eric had been quiet for a while.

" Is everything alright? " Devi finished what Tenna was about to ask.

"Hmm?" Eric snapped out of it. “Oh sorry! Didn’t mean to daze out, but yeah I’m alright."

"Is it the sunlight? " Demi asked.

"No its fine really..." Eric assured them. "You know how I am during the day. I'm always a bit quiet and lazy."

"Well..." Tenna replied not completely buying it. "Yeah okay..."

I need to stop worrying... Eric thought to himself. For the sake of them...

****

Devi and Demi were in a store, while Tenna sat alone with Eric on a table near by. Tenna finally had enough. As she stood beside a table where Eric (in bat form) laid, she confronted him.

"Alright, spill!" Tenna told him in slight anger. "There is something bothering you! I can feel it! And you don't want to tell us!"

Eric looked at his friend in surprise but remained silent.

Tenna continued "There is something you're not telling us and I got a feeling, its got something to do with that weird bracelet Magnus gave you!"

"Tenna..." Eric was a bit speechless and then looked down guiltily.

"Eric, you need to stop doing this!" Tenna said a little upset but tried to not yell too much. She wanted to really get to the point of it. "We're you're friends. You should trust us and let us know when something is up! If you keep doing stuff like this it's...." Tenna tried to put it in the best way. "It's just as bad as lying...My mother said keeping something serious or important a secret, can be just as bad as lying!"

Before Eric could say anything, they heard a commotion in the form of a very loud blast.

"Ooh great..." Tenna said annoyedly as if it was something casual thing. Eric was about to fly up but Tenna stopped him. "Sorry, but you're grounded for the time being! If you can't trust us to tell us what's up, how are we suppose to trust each other in a fight?"

"Tenna, it's not..." But Tenna interrupted

"We'll discuss this later!" Tenna said as she ran off. Eric flew not too far, just in case.

From the rubble of a now evacuated restaurant stood Johnny but he seemed to be holding something in his right hand and appeared to be in a more dazed expression then usual.

"Oh, great!" Tenna snapped. "It's Devi's crazy ex! Looks like I might need Eric's help after all beside's Devi..."

With that Devi came in running as fast as she could with Demi beside her. She stopped beside Tenna and looked a little surprise at Johnny.

"Jeez! Johnny!" Devi snapped at him. "Seriously, do you need to blow up something everytime you want our attention?"

"I guess..." Nny simply replied in almost a monotone kind of way.

"Ugh..." Devi sighed and then looked around. "Where's Eric?"

"I grounded him..." Tenna said

"What!?" Devi asked in confused.

"We can't talk about it later!" Tenna said "Mr. Spooky!"

"Demi, here we go!" Devi called her familiar.

They both transformed and were about to attack Nny, when he took the purple thing in his hand and let it float around him. Then it went into his heart.

"What's going on?" Devi asked in confused and worry. Eric watched in surprise as well in his bat form.

Johnny's body began to glow. In a couple seconds, he was now dressed in an unusual dark knight uniform. The long sleeve top and leggings under the armor was a faded dark violet and the armor was very dark gray. The chest armor had an interesting pattern that resembled a skeletal rib cage. The shoulder pads had spikes on that slightly curved up, like a jagged rocks or horns. The leg armor also had these spikes. Upon his back were these torn black, thin, leathery wings. They almost looked like a scarf but clearly moved to allow him to fly.

"What, he's a knight too?!" Tenna said in shock.

"This is bad..." Eric muttered "I gotta help them! And fast!"

Devi was also shocked to see Johnny in an armor. "What happen to you?"

"I just became knight..."He said in the same dark and kind of monotone voice. "Just like you..." Then he raised his hand and a long, black but polished machete appeared in his hand. He then swung it and purple, blade shape, lights came out of it and hit the two girls, who flew back and slammed into the ground.

"Devi! Tenna!" Eric cried out as he flew toward them, but Johnny had heard the bat and swat him away before he could reach his friends. Eric skitted across the floor. He got up onto his tiny wings and shook his head. Then he looked in fear as Johnny raised machete over him. Before Johnny could swing down, Eric jumped out of the way and flew up.

"That won't work this time!" Johnny told him as he jumped up as well. Now he could fly too! Eric desperately tried flying around him to confuse him and try to get to Devi and Tenna, but Johnny was way too fast and he slammed the bat to the ground, with the side of his blade, like a person swatting a fly.

Eric crashed to the ground with a thud!

"Eric!" Devi cried out

Tenna looked in horror. This my fault. I should have just let Eric help us! I shouldn't have pressured him like that. I know that he shouldn't keep things like that hidden to himself, but I also shouldn't have gone that far!

Before Johnny could land a finishing blow to Eric, Tenna called out "Spirit Star Storm!" and attacked Johnny from behind. It didn't do too much damage but it was enough to distract him from Eric.

Devi looked at the whole scene in surprise as she said quietly "You two have been acting really weird lately..." She was referring to Eric and Tenna as she did notice some unusual behavior in both of them. Then she and Tenna jumped out of the way of Nny's attack.

Eric opened his eyes and looked up at the scene. He never felt anymore useless in his entire life. I wish I had just told them the rest of what Magnus said and how I felt about it, but there's no point in thinking like that right now.

He flew up once again, stumbling a little bit as he got up in the air. Right now that matters most, is protecting my friends!

With that he started to fly in but as soon as he did, a bright light from his right wing appeared. It was from the gauntlet that Eric wore on his right arm. The three quarreling ones stopped as they looked in Eric in amazement. Within a second Eric suddenly changed into his normal self.

Eric noticed this and looked at himself. "I changed back but how?" Eric asked himself and then looked at his gauntlet. The black diamond in the middle was shining brightly. Then something began to happen as a sharp pain twinged in his wrist.

"Ahh!" Eric held his right wrist as the gauntlet began illuminating black sparks and some sparks of white.

"Eric, what's wrong?!" Devi called to him.

Eric gasped in pain as he looked at the gauntlet in a painful expression. Damn it! What's going on!?

"Eric!" Tenna called out.

"I can't control it!" Eric cried out as suddenly the black and white electricity started to swirl around him and he was completely covered in light and dark sparks that seemed to swirl around him. Inside the mess Eric looked up in fear as something began taking over.

"Eric!" His two friends cried as Johnny sent out a blast of energy from his blade right at Eric, which caused an explosion. When the smoke cleared, Eric was now in his own armor. His armor was similar to Tenna and Devi's but also a little like Nny's in some ways.

The armor itself was completely pitch black with white lines that completed the details on it. The chest armor had the white lines display the usual chest plate lines, often seen in knight armor, with a Celtic style swirl in the middle of each plate, with a line that went down to the bottom side corners of the plate. In the middle of the chest armor was a black diamond jewel.

The shoulder armor also displayed the same kind swirl within the middle on the side. The shoulder armor was slightly pointed and under both of them, dangled what look to be black, long, thin metal plates.   He had two gauntlets now but only the right gauntlet held the black diamond jewel.

The tasset or belt of the armor had the same white swirls that branched on the edges of the armor, giving it a look of thin clouds or vines. In middle of the tasset or fauld of the armor was black cross with a white outlines and a black diamond in the middle. From the tasset was black loin cloth or skirt if one will. The boots looked like the classic Celtic knight boots complete with greaves (the top leg or calve armor). He wore underneath a black sleeveless top and black shorts that went half way down toward the knee. On his left ear was an earring that dangled from a small chain, the same kind of black cross on the tasset.

Eric opened his eyes but he wasn't the same, which Devi and Tenna noticed almost immediately. He had a dazed expression as if he was hypnotized. A bluish glow seemed to be in his eyes.

"Eric?" Devi asked nervously but Eric didn't say anything. He stretched out his arm on the side and a black sword appeared in his hand. The blade of the sword impressively looked like it was made out of black onyx stone, instead of metal. The sword was long and designed like a classic knight's double edge sword. The handle was designed to match the same gothic cross on Eric's outfit and earring, with blade making the top part of the cross. On the bottom of the blade was black diamond jewel as well.

He took the blade and swung it forward at Nny and a bolt of black and white lightning shot out right into Nny's chest. The electrical energy was so immense that it also struck at Devi and Tenna.

"Hey Eric!" Devi snapped out.

"Easy, when you fire!" Tenna also snapped "What is wrong with you!?"

"Guys, Eric isn't in control of himself!" Demi said from within Devi's heart.

"Wha?" Devi replied as Demi continued "He's being controlled by the armor. He can't help it!"

Devi told Tenna what Demi had said and Tenna nodded "Spooky told me that too! We gotta do something to help him but what?"

"Tenna, you fight Eric and try to get him to snap out of it!" Devi told her. "I'll fight Nny!"

"Right!" Tenna replied "Good luck!" As she jumped up in front of Eric.

"Hmm..." Sighed Magnus who had been watching the whole thing from a far. "I was afraid that this would happen..." He couldn't help but show a slight sense of sadness and a bit of guilt.

Tenna began calling to Eric to see if she could help him.

"Eric, its me!" Tenna said "It's me, Tenna! Don't you remember?"

Eric didn't answer her as he began swinging his blade at her. Tenna did her best to dodge each attack and then she jumped up and shot him with an energy attack from her staff right in his back.

"Sorry, Eric..." Tenna said as she raised her hands up in a shrug "But you really didn't give me any choice."

Eric swung his blade at her again. Tenna did a double jump by jumping onto Eric's shoulders and then leaping behind him.

"Sorry about this but..." Tenna began to call out her attack "Spirit Strike!" As she shot out her attack Eric flew up. Tenna called upon her healing technique to see if it would help. Eric cringed as the colorful leaves swirled around him.

"This might work..." Tenna said Please let it work... as she called out "Spirited Gale!"

Meanwhile, Devi was trying her best to hold her own against Nny. It was literally like the clash of the pen and the sword, except with a fude brush and a machete, clashing as both of them darted in a criss-cross pattern, slamming their weapon, as Nny would try to get a hit while Devi blocked. She was hoping to maybe wear him out but he showed hardly any sign of that.

Devi fell back to the ground and tried catching her breath. As soon as Nny landed in front of her, she swung her brush letting her magic ink out to hit Nny, who jumped out of the way. Devi leaped forward slamming her fude brush once again into his machete. As she did this, she and Demi heard what sounded like a small cry of help. It was coming from Johnny yet it was not his voice.

Devi's eyes widen as she and Johnny jumped back away from each other.

"What was that?!" Devi asked Demi

"You heard that too?!" Demi asked

"Good..." Demi replied "I thought I was just hearing things!"

"Eric!" Tenna called out almost desperately as Eric was still surrounded by the leaves of her spell. "Can you hear me!"

Eric put his hands to his head as if he was losing his mind.

"Try to remember when you first met all of us!" Tenna told him. During this, memories of those times started to form in his mind, like simple flashbacks that raced through his head. Tenna jumped to where he floated above. As soon as she did her staffed popped out of her hand and levitated under her feet. Tenna noticed this and smiled as it lifted her up. She balanced on the staff like someone walking on a type rope.

Tenna floated to him and continued "You said you're glad to meet all of us and we all agreed to fight together to defeat the darkness!"

"I can't..." Eric muttered "I'm not strong..."

"You can and you are strong!" Tenna replied "Remember how you comforted me and Devi when we needed it! The words you would say to us, they're not the words of a weak person! You can choose to fight this! That attitude helped gave me strength! You've always been strong and always been a good friend!"

Tears began filling her eyes after the last part as she grabbed his shoulders. "I'm sorry that I said you didn't trust us...I just hate it when I see someone keep stuff bottled up inside..."

"Bottled up inside?" Eric muttered as another flashback went into his head.

"Something happened to you in the changing room..." Eric said "Didn't it..."

"Eric..." Devi said starting to get frustrated.

"I won't force you to talk about it... " Eric quickly said "I don't mean to nag its just I worry...I know when something is upsetting you. I don't like not being able to do anything about it, cause I dunno what's bothering you."

"Devi..." Demi said as she floated onto her knees. "It's unhealthy to keep things bottled up inside...If there's something bothering you...you should talk about it."

Tenna hugged Eric and pressed her face against the armor chest plate. "Please, I don't wanna lose a friend, especially like this! Please! Eric!!!"

Eric snapped out of it for a moment and looked at Tenna. He gently lifted his arms and held her shoulders a little bit.

"Tenna?..." He said as he looked at her with a warm expression. Tenna looked at him as her face brighten up.

Then a twinge of pain shot out from Eric’s wrist. As he gasped in pain, pushing Tenna away, he flew up. He seemed to be in a lot of pain as he struggled to get the gauntlet off him. A black bolt of lightning seem to come from it and shot him in the chest.

Eric began to fell and as he did, Magnus caught him.

" Eric! " Tenna called out.

At the same time Devi and Johnny were tired of their battle. Johnny huffed and disappeared, while Devi ran to see how her fallen friend was doing.

" Eric!" Devi called out. Eric laid motionless and unconscious. Tenna took him out of Magnus arms and cradled young man, crying and calling out to him.  He had reverted to his normal vampire self with his normal fishnet top and outfit.

Magnus looked at him with a sneering kind of face, possibly angry with himself. Though inside he was just as worried and sadden as Eric’s friends. Tenna brushed Eric’s hair and wept.
